Sens 5 Anaheim 3

Finally after 80 years the Stanley Cup finals return to the Canadian capital city of Ottawa – and man did they ever show how much it was missed ! On a night to remember for the city, the Senators beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3 in Game 3 of the finals and reduced their lead to 2-1 in the series. Goals came from brand new dad Chris Neil, Mike Fisher, Daniel Alfredsson, Dean McAmmond & Anton Volchenkov. Ottawa have had a tough time scoring against a Ducks side that seemed to dominate the series in the last two games, both held in Anaheim, California. The Sens lost those games 3-2 & 1-0 respectively and were outhit and outplayed for most of them. Now it’s our turn to host the Ducks and show them what we’ve got. More of this please. GO SENS GO!

Aerosmith in India!! And I can’t see them :(

Aerosmith play live at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore and I can’t go to see them! :(

As another legendary band plays in Bangalore tonight, I will be having a vodka or two, a quite dinner by myself and come back home. There will be that Amazing feeling of a Sweet Emotion, some Crying as I Walk This Way tired & Jaded. The Boston bad boys will be playing all their greatest hits and I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing so tell me What It Takes to get there to The Other Side and watch them live. But my circumstances said Dream On cause your Dueces Are Wild and you’re feeling F.I.N.E. All I can do is perhaps spend some time with the Girls Of Summer and hope I get some Love In An Elevator and hope that the Dude, Looks Like A Lady doesn’t take a fancy for me.

Change in the weather

So we had some heavy rain, then not so heavy rain and then a little rain. Now today it’s like it never rained at all!

It was nice to have rain for two days and then occasional showers to quench the thirst of the Earth. It made the air cleaner and cooled us down considerably, thereby making the evenings & nights much more pleasant. The mornings (until say 9 am) is usually a bit cold and taking a shower in the chilled water wakes you up and every part of your body in ways you can’t imagine. Older people have to switch on the water heaters in their bathrooms before they take a bath in the mornings. Me, I don’t bother and since I normally sleep for less than 6 hours on workdays, I need the extra stimuli to vitalize me.

It is also lovely to sleep the mornings in bed, which unfortunately I can’t do at the moment since I am working a 9-6 shift as I have a training batch. But I fully intend to utilize it on Sunday.

The side effect of all this rain is that the roads get muddy and you tend to get wet on the way to work or going outside for some fun. Umbrellas are in full swing. The whole city gets a slick feeling but better be careful when you are walking. And people tend to get sick when they get wet in the rain.

But today, the heat is back. Two days of no rain and we are almost back to the sweat and the blaze. That is not good. I hope it rains tonight or tomorrow.
