How do you define the term “soulmate,” and do you believe in the existence of such a person — for you?

I’m not sure if I think that there is a soulmate out there for you and you just have to find her/him. I think, well atleast for myself, that you find someone special and you get along, you become friends and later fall in love or fall in love immediately. You discover things about this person and if several things align and you both have several similar interests or you both make an effort to make things as if you both have similar interests and love a lot of the same things, it makes life so much more fun and enjoyable.

That will make her you soulmate because she gets you, she understands you and you understand her. You are her soulmate and she is yours. I believe that it never happens all of a sudden, it takes time and effort and understanding and compromise and a lot of patience. You make her the center of your world and she does the same for you. Then the magic starts. It’s takes a lot to become a true soulmate in every sense of the word. I believe you start off with some similar interests, friendship and love follows and you work at being the soulmate for your spouse/lover. That means a lot.

I would love to meet my soulmate. A couple of times I thought I did meet her. It hasn’t happened yet for me, obviously as I am a bachelor. I still have hope that it isn’t too late for me but it’s not getting any easier. If you are married to your soulmate, you are a lucky person.
