Three Coins in the Fountain

Have you ever tossed a coin or two into a fountain and made a wish? Did it come true?

I have never found a fountain anywhere I have been in several years that I could toss a coin into. The ones that I have seen are all artificial ones within building enclosed areas and hence it might be frowned upon to toss a coin into it. I mean they have that for display and ambience purposes and some dude comes in and tosses coins into it just like that. And in these times when most people have trouble getting hard cash in hand and must resort to cashless or wireless transactions!

Anyways if I did believe in such fairytales I would find me a fountain where wishes do come true and I would toss my three coins into it. For my first wish I’d wish that everyone on earth, every human, bird and animal have peace, prosperity and long life never knowing what it means to feel pain, hunger, anger, pain or suffering. For my second wish I’d get rid of religious nonsense and let humanity and humanism prevail and everyone would be mindful of hurting others or pushing their ideas onto anyone else save themselves. And for my third wish I’d wish we’d all, those of us want to anyway, will get their ideal mate and know true love. Especially me.

I know not of any three greater wishes that a dreamer like me can ever wish for.
