Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has agreed a new two-year contract, extending his 21-year reign at the club. Wenger and club owner Stan Kroenke met on Monday to determine the Frenchman’s future, with the decision relayed to directors at a Tuesday board meeting. Arsenal are planning to make an official announcement on Wednesday. The Gunners were fifth in the Premier League this season, the first time they have finished outside the top four since the Frenchman joined in 1996. They finished 18 points behind champions Chelsea, but beat the Blues 2-1 to win the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday. Wenger’s contract was set to finish at the end of the current campaign.

So now we know! The board at Arsenal and Kronke are spineless lot. They have no backbone to speak off and have no vision beyond this arrogant geezer who has lost the plot and has no clue as to what is good for the club or what the fans want. Wenger is beyond hopeless, he used to be a good manager because he has a good team around him and really good players. His medical staff and coaching team now are worthless. This FA Cup came with a bittertaste of nasty medicine. The board are happy with the FA Cup win and 5th place. In any big club Wenger would have been out, kicked out and down on his ass. At Arsenal because we have the greediest bunch of sleezy morons running things, he gets a new 2 year contract.
