The Boss Baby

The Boss Baby is a 2017 American computer-animated comedy film loosely based on the 2010 picture book of the same name written and illustrated by Marla Frazee and produced by DreamWorks Animation. It was directed by Tom McGrath and written by Michael McCullers, and stars the voices of Alec Baldwin as the title character, Miles Bakshi, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Tobey Maguire.

So apparently I did not know where babies come from. Babies come from some kind of heavenly abode which has a sort of factory kind of thing where babies are separated as either to go to a family or to go to management. Our main character, Theodore Lindsey Templeton (a.k.a The Boss Baby) is one such baby. After he has been powdered on his bum, given baby booties, a pacifier and diapers the machine judges him to be management material and not suited for a family as he does not giggle joyfully when tickled. He is later sent to a family, the Templetons, and pretends to be a baby. The older son Tim is surprised when an infant wearing a business suit shows up in a taxi at his house, and Ted and Janice call him Tim’s little brother. Tim is envious of the attention the baby receives, not to mention suspicious when the infant acts odd around him.

Tim soon finds out that Ted can talk so he introduces himself as “The Boss”. Seeing an opportunity to be rid of him, Tim decides to record a conversation between the Boss Baby and other toddlers who are at Tim’s house for a meeting (under the guise of a play date by the parents) to do something about how puppies are receiving more love than babies. The Boss Baby and the other infants catch Tim with the recording, and the tape is terminated after the Boss Baby threatens to tear up Tim’s favorite stuffed animal. With no evidence to support him, Tim is grounded by his parents for his actions. Ted calls a truce with Tim when he sees him sad and crying and transports him to Baby Corp, a place where infants with adult-like minds work to preserve infant love everywhere. The Boss Baby explains that he was sent to see why puppies are getting more love than infants. He has infiltrated Tim’s residence because his parents work for Puppy Co., which is unleashing a new puppy on the day that employees take their children to work.

The Boss Baby stays intelligent by drinking a “Secret Baby Formula” that enables a baby to act like an adult. However, if a baby does not drink it after a period of time, he or she becomes a regular baby. When they overhear Boss Baby’s boss threaten to fire him for not bringing in information, thereby stranding him at the Templetons, he and Tim agree to work together to keep that from happening. Tim’s parents take them to Puppy Co. for “take your child to work day”. While there, they slip away and find what they think is the plans for a “Forever Puppy”, but it turns out to be a trap set by founder Francis E. Francis. They discover that Francis used to be the head of Baby Corp. and Boss Baby’s idol but was forced out when it was discovered that his lactose intolerance kept the secret formula from working properly. Vowing revenge, Francis founded Puppy Corp. and intends to have the Forever Puppies overshadow babies by stealing Boss Baby’s serum bottle and infecting the puppies with it. Tim’s parents go with Francis to Las Vegas, and Francis has his brother Eugene pose as Tim and Boss Baby’s babysitter to keep them from interfering.

Without a steady flow of formula to keep his intelligence in check, Boss Baby starts becoming a normal baby. Despite this, he and Tim evade the “babysitter” long enough to get to the airport but are too late to intercept Tim’s parents. After sneaking on a plane for Elvis impersonators bound for Vegas, they stall Francis’ presentation when Eugene unwittingly gives away their plan.

Furious at their interference, Francis locks Tim’s parents up so he can burn them with exhaust from a rocket used to launch the Forever Puppies. Tim and Boss Baby push him off of a ledge, making Francis tumble into the formula. Boss Baby opens the rocket to let the dogs out so they can save Tim’s parents. He returns to baby state while on the rocket, but Tim sings to him with the family song to show his appreciation, causing him to jump off the rocket before it launches. Boss Baby gets promoted and leaves. Tim goes back to being an only child, but Tim and Boss Baby miss each other. Boss Baby returns to the Templeton family as a regular baby named Theodore Lindsey. Back in the present, Tim, who finished the story, is now an adult and the father of an infant daughter who acts like Theodore did when he was Boss Baby.

I found it hilarious, neat, cool, adorable and sweet! I enjoyed it a lot and I almost want to be a baby again! Yeah! 8.5 outta 10!

I’m On The Night Train

Well we are back to a late evening shift once again. I will be working 8:30 pm to 5:30 am for this week. Well, atleast the next three days. Maybe Thursday and Friday I will move back to a 6:30 pm to 3:30 am shift, which is what I would like to do. Hmmm having said that a 3:30 pm to 12:30 is preferable but I guess it’s better to this shift instead just because of work reasons.

I don’t like coming home late or rather that early in the morning. This shift means that I will reach home by around 6am. I usually will buy some vada or pathiri from one of the tea shops next to my building and have them at home just before I go to bed. And usually I am able to sleep for 5 to 6 hours which is tough for me to do during the day. I will wake up around 12 or 12:30 pm and brush my teeth and have lunch. Then it will be back to bed where I will watch some tv shows until say 5 or 6pm. After which it will be a coffee, internet time, shave, shit and a shower before slowly getting ready.

It will always seem like I have more time for myself during this shift but I dunno. Is it just a feeling? I hope this shift is short lived and I can get back to a 3:30 pm or a 6:30 pm shift.

Six Of One, Half A Dozen Of The Other

Write a six-word story about what you think the future holds for you, and then expand on it in a post.

Lonely nights eating takeout dinners alone.

I am 40 years old, about to turn 41. I am a single dude and not seeing anyone at the moment. I haven’t dated in ages and I guess I could try and go the arranged marriage route but I won’t since a) I don’t like family arranging a marriage / life partner for me and b) when you go that route 99% of the time they look into astrological stuff and I know that is bullshit so it’s not for me.

So it’s been a lonely path that I take. I don’t even think I am lucky enough to find my girl and I guess, atleast at a subconscious level I kind of resigned myself to being alone. Even by the time I was 35 or so. Once my parents are gone, in 5 to 10 years (more I hope) then it’s just gonna be me alone in this apartment. Other than work, the most I will have to look forward to is a few days when I go out and roam around, go to a mall, catch a movie and eat at a nice place. Maybe I will even do a little traveling once I save some money.

But for the most part it’s gonna me work to home and home to work. It means a lot of nights looking for a movie or tv series to watch before I go to bed. It means a lot of dinners for one as I collect the take out menu from restaurants nearby. In my 20s I would have done anything to have my own place and live the way I want to and have dinners on my own but as I dwell into the 40s and think of when I am completely alone, it makes me sad. But I guess that’s what’s in store for me.

War For The Planet Of The Apes

War for the Planet of the Apes is a 2017 American science fiction film directed by Matt Reeves and written by Mark Bomback and Reeves. A sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), it is the third installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot series. The film stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn, and follows the confrontation between the apes, led by Caesar, and the humans for control of Earth.

Set 15 years after the events of the first movie, the remaining human soldiers are at war with the apes led by Caesar. A military faction known as Alpha-Omega. AO also has in its service apes who followed Koba, a bonobo who previously led a failed coup against Caesar. Some of the AO militants, including the gorilla Red, are captured and reveal that Alpha-Omega follows the leadership of a ruthless Colonel. Caesar releases the prisoners as a peace offering to the humans, but makes plans to relocate the clan across the desert, not wanting to suffer any more ape casualties. The night before their journey, Alpha-Omega infiltrates the apes’ base and the Colonel kills Caesar’s wife, Cornelia, and their elder son, Blue Eyes. A distraught Caesar leaves his younger son Cornelius in the care of Lake, a chimp who was Blue Eyes’ lover, and makes the rest of the apes leave for the desert.

Maurice the orangutan, Luca the gorilla and Rocket the chimpanzee accompany him against his orders and they come across a human who draws his gun against them and Caesar is forced to shoot him dead. They find his mute young daughter in the cabin and Maurice forces Caesar to bring the girl along with them.  Caesar’s party confronts traitorous albino gorilla Winter in an Alpha-Omega camp and learn that the Colonel has departed for a location called the “border”. Caesar inadvertently kills Winter, which causes him to worry that he is becoming like Koba. They also discover some human soldiers who cannot speak just like the girl.  Later the group meets Bad Ape, a chimpanzee hermit who lived in the Sierra Zoo before the Simian Flu pandemic. Bad Ape directs them to the border, a former weapons depot that was turned into a quarantine facility when the virus first began to spread.

At the border facility Luca is killed trying to protect Caesar from a patrol and the chimp decides to move alone. he is captured by Red after witnessing the rest of his ape clan being forced to build a wall with no food or water. The Colonel reveals to Caesar that the Simian Flu virus has mutated and now causes humans who survived the original strain to become mute and regress back to a primitive state, and that he is barricading himself in the facility to fend off rival military forces coming to defeat him because he favors killing any infected humans – including his own son – to stop the spread of the virus. While Caesar is tortured with starvation, the mute girl, whom Maurice names Nova, sneaks into the facility to give him food and water. To prevent her from being discovered, Rocket allows himself to be captured as a diversion. Together, Caesar and Rocket are able to work out a means of escape via an underground tunnel that leads out of the facility.

Maurice and Bad Ape use the tunnel to rescue the apes, and Caesar orders the others to escape while he goes to confront the Colonel. As the facility comes under attack by the rival military forces, Caesar reaches the Colonel, but realizes that he has been infected by the mutated virus. Caesar ultimately spares the Colonel, who takes his own life rather than exist as an infected primitive. During the battle between Alpha-Omega and the rival militants, the escaping apes come under fire from Alpha-Omega. Caesar attempts to attack Alpha-Omega from behind, but is shot by Preacher, one of the AO militants he had previously set free. Red saves Caesar’s life at the cost of his own, and Caesar blows up the facility’s fuel supplies, causing a cascading explosion which wipes out Alpha-Omega and allows the rival militants to triumph. However, the human forces are subsequently buried by an avalanche, which Caesar and the other apes (carrying Nova) survive by climbing nearby trees.

The apes make their way to the desert and just beyond that they find an oasis like paradise where they can make their new home. While the other apes joyously celebrate their new home, Maurice discovers Caesar’s wound, and assures Caesar that he will be remembered as Caesar quietly dies. Fitting end to a great franchise character. Just wonderfully shot and acted. This is the best of the three reboot movies and everything was done really well. 8.5 outta 10!

Arsenal Player & Transfer News

In a boost to Arsenal’s Premier League hopes, the Gunners have made a major breakthrough in contract talks with playmaker Ozil, according to the Sun. The UK tabloid reports that Arsenal is confident the German will sign a new £280,000-a-week deal ($457,000) before the start of the season. That’s huge money by anyone’s standards and would make Ozil the highest paid player at the club. However, it’s a bargain compared to the £350,000-a-week ($572,000) he was previously asking for.

But while contract talks are progressing nicely with Ozil, the Gunners’ battle to hold onto Sanchez is set to get a whole lot harder with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain entering the chase for the Chilean icon. According to French media outlet Le Parisien, PSG sporting director Antero Henrique is in London looking to seal a deal for Sanchez. Sanchez has only one year left on his current deal with Arsenal and looks increasingly unlikely to agree to a contract extension. Despite Wenger insisting Sanchez is not for sale, the 28-year-old is also being pursued by Manchester City.

The Daily Star reports that Jack Wilshere is open to joining West Ham, the club he supported as a child, if a fee can be agreed with Arsenal. Wilshere, who spent last season on loan with Bournemouth, is valued at £20m ($32.71m) by Arsenal and the North London club is insisting that any deal for the 25-year-old includes a buyback clause. West Ham are not the only club interested in Wilshere, however. Italy’s TuttoMercatoWeb reports that Turkish club Antalyaspor are happy to meet Arsenal’s asking price for Wilshere. However, TuttoMercatoWeb claim that asking price to only be £9m ($14.72m).

Arsenal has rejected a £16m ($26.16m) bid for Calum Chambers from Crystal Palace, according to the Daily Telegraph. However, the Gunners have not closed the door on offloading the former Southampton defender. It is understood they want £20m ($$32.71) for the 22-year-old. After a tough debut campaign in the Premier League, Spanish striker Lucas Perez could be on his way to Turkey for a season. Perez, who only score eight goals in his 22 appearances for the Gunners last season, has drawn the interest of Fenerbahce, according to TalkSport. The Turkish giants are purportedly ready to hold talks with the striker’s representatives to try and secure a season-long loan.

Nasty Cold & Fever

Well I guess I’ll live! I woke up this morning with a bit of a cold that soon escalated to a fever with a slight temperature and a nasty cold. Nose dripping, sneezing like crazy and unable to sit up for more than 30 minutes at a time. I was sick! by 12 pm I could no longer just be up and so I went to lie on my bed and watched some Buffy.

After lunch, and I was so hungry as I had skipped breakfast, I went back to bed again and watched some more tv shows before taking a 2 hour deep nap. I had also taken a pill for the cold which helped because by 6pm I was feeling better. Good enough to sit at my desk and watch Youtube aided ofcourse by two strong black coffees and I also had buns with them. Sweet buns not the other kind, you dirty mind!

I still have a bad cold and a sneezing all this much has given me a breathing issue as well. But I am on the road to recovery. I guess I will be good enough to go back to work tomorrow. I hope so, as I do not want to miss work for another day. I think I will watch a movie while lying in bed before I go to sleep.

Wojciech Szczesny Leaves Arsenal For Juventus

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has completed a £10m move to Juventus. The 27-year-old, who spent the past two years on loan at Roma, signed a four-year deal with the Italian champions. The Poland international played 38 times for Roma last season and kept 14 clean sheets – the most in Serie A. “When you come to Juve, it’s because you’ve been chosen. I had no hesitation,” said Szczesny, who made 132 appearances for Arsenal in eight years at the club. “I’m ready for a new challenge – Juventus is the best choice for the next stage of my career.”

Szczesny said he had already spoken to Juve number one Gianluigi Buffon, who he described as “a legend in our game”. “I’m really happy to be here,” he added. “I’m not feeling any pressure. I’m here to represent the club at the highest level.” Poland goalkeeper Szczesny underwent his medical in Turin on Tuesday and officially became a Juventus player on Wednesday in a deal that could rise to €15.3 million, depending on performance. The 27-year-old, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma, has signed a four-year contract for the Bianconeri, where he is expected to be understudy to Italy No. 1 Gianlugi Buffon in the coming season. “Juventus Football Club is pleased to announce the transfer of Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal, the goalkeeper signing a four-year deal with the Italian champions until 30 June 2021,” a statement on Juve’s official website read.

“Of goalkeepers to have made more than 10 appearances, only Gianluigi Buffon and Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma have held greater save percentage rates — 77 percent and 76 percent respectively — than the Pole (75 percent) over the last two seasons. “While Buffon would concede the fewest goals overall last term, Szczesny was the man to keep the most clean sheets — 14 in total. With 72 Serie A matches under his belt, Juve’s latest acquisition is poised to embark on a new adventure at the Allianz Stadium where once again he will have his sights firmly set on the number one jersey.” Szczesny said goodbye to Roma in a message on Instagram last month and added a lengthy farewell to Arsenal that included him saying: “I may not be an Arsenal player no more but I will carry the Arsenal name with me wherever I go and I will do so with great pride. Once a Gunner, always a Gunner!”

Hello Roshan, My Old Friend

Present-day you meets 10-years-ago you for coffee. Share with your younger self the most challenging thing, the most rewarding thing, and the most fun thing they have to look forward to.

Aha, let’s meet for coffee in a nice quite place where we can sit for a few hours and drinks cups after cups of mocha lattes. You and I love them, don’t we? Ok, sip sip ah! That’s good. Now, I bet you are surprised to see me aren’t you?

What advice I would tell 30 year old me? Be careful, your naivety and friendliness is not always reciprocated by everyone you meet and interact with. You have to realize that you are in the shitty side of doing work – a corporate enviornment. You will make a lot of friends and some people will really like you. Others are just waiting to drag you down at the drop of a hat. Watch out! Be prepared with adequate and accurate data.

The most rewarding thing – I dunno, the current pay off I guess. Though I feel the older I get and the more money I make, I feel that it is still less. I need more. So hold off on the most rewarding thing. I don’t see that much as having been very rewarding at all. I think I need more and I deserve more. And the most fun thing – is spending time with the people I care about. Going for movies (again after a gap of 11 years) and buying dinners for my folks. That is the best thing ever.

What to look forward to? Seriously nothing much. Hey, you start your own Star Trek ships collection. That is really something you will love.

Arsenal To Offload Players?

Reports are in that Arsenal fringe players Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers, Mathieu Debuchy, and Wojciech Szczesny are all linked with exits from the Emirates. Chambers is off to Crystal Palace for £20m and possibly a buy-back clause inserted. Gibbs is off to West Brom for £12m according to Sky Sports. Arsenal now have full agreement with Juventus over the sell of Wojiech Szczesny. Fee in the region of £10m. Debuchy will have his medical at OGC Nice in next 48 hours. Fee unknown but possibly a free transfer.

Sampdoria have offered £6m plus £1.5m in add-ons for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to Sky in Italy. Wilshere has one year remaining on his Arsenal contract and spent last season on loan at Bournemouth. His season at the Vitality Stadium was cut short when he fractured his leg against Tottenham in April. The 25-year-old has been capped 34 times by England. Wilshere has been reportedly linked with a loan move to Crystal Palace, and Sampdoria, who finished 10th in Serie A last season, have now entered the running. However, Wenger said at the weekend that he expects Wilshere to stay at Arsenal and fight for first-team football.

West Brom are interested in signing Kieran Gibbs and have approached Arsenal to discuss a potential transfer, Sky sources understand. Sky Sports News HQ has been told the Gunners want around £10m for the defender, but Albion are not prepared to pay that amount. Baggies boss Tony Pulis, who is currently with his squad in Hong Kong for the Asia Trophy, has been looking for a specialist left-back and sees Gibbs as his best option. The 27-year-old made just eight Premier League starts last season and 22 appearances in all competitions overall – his second season struggling for first-team games. Gibbs has 10 England caps but has fallen out of the national-team frame while his chances have been limited under Arsene Wenger.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Arsenal defender Calum Chambers, according to Sky sources. Sky Sports News HQ understands the 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at relegated Middlesbrough, is valued at around £20m. Chambers has not been included on Arsenal’s tour to Australia and China because he played for England in the U21 European Championship in Poland, after which he remains on holiday. Chambers was a £16m signing from Southampton three years ago but has struggled for a first-team place at the Emirates. He made 36 appearances for the Gunners in his first season but made only two Premier League starts in his second season and moved to Boro last summer.

Meanwhile, Gunners full-back Mathieu Debuchy is expected to complete a move to Nice in the next 48 hours, according to Europe1 Sports. The French defender, who made 13 appearances in three seasons under Wenger, is set to undergo a medical before joining the Ligue 1 club on a free transfer as a replacement for Ricardo Pereira, who returned to Porto after a two-year loan. Debuchy, 31, spent part of 2015-16 on loan at Bordeaux, and earned his first Arsenal appearance in 385 days when he played against Bournemouth. However, he lasted 14 minutes before picking up an injury.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is also set to leave the Emirates for Juventus, according to the Guardian. The Polish goalkeeper, who’s been on loan at Roma for the past two seasons, has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to join the Italian champions. The transfer fee for the 27-year-old Polish international is expected to be around £10m. His long-term contract will be worth about £70,000 a week as he plays back-up to Gigi Buffon.

Rude, Loud & Idiotic!

I am a bit concerned about the current generation of young boys and girls. I was at a small internet cafe that is located about less than a minute’s walk away from my building. The cafe owner also has digital scanning, photo copying and DTP in the shop plus he also has a few new connections for mobile companies like Airtel and Reliance as well as recharge options for their prepaid customers. As I had a requirement for getting some documents scanned I walked over this morning at around 10 am.

While I was there I waited in line for the scanning as there was a young lady in front of me as well as an older gentleman who had handed over some files to be photocopied and left for a while. After the girl left it was my turn and just then 4 lads of about 17-18 walked in. They must be 17-18 in my opinion though they looked kinda immature for that age as well but one of them had a full scruffy beard so I am guessing they were around 18. And they were loud and obnoxious and talked way too much for anyone’s liking. From their loud talk I got the idea that they were in town to right some exams (perhaps an entrance exam or something) and they wanted to check something online.

These guys have no sense of personal space or any decency or manners! Fucking hell parents in Kerala, what the fuck are you teaching your kids these days? I was never the “perfect gentleman” and neither were my friends but at that age and younger or even older, we knew how to behave in public. I would never be so rude enough to stand at the table and bend over to check what the owner of the cafe was typing. The rudeness is shocking! They can’t stand at a respectful distance from someone else. They won’t know how! They can’t wait their turn and start loudly asking for what they want even if there are people in front of them. And no one else wants to hear your conversation so speak at a lower level you assholes!

RIP George R. Romero

American-Canadian filmmaker, writer and editor, best known for his series of gruesome and satirical horror films about an imagined zombie apocalypse, beginning in 1968 with Night of the Living Dead, which is often considered a progenitor of the fictional zombie of modern culture. Other notable films in the series include Dawn of the Dead (1978 ) and Day of the Dead (1985). Aside from the Dead series, his works include The Crazies (1973), Martin(1978 ), Creepshow (1982), Monkey Shines (1988 ) and The Dark Half (1993).

Romero is often noted as an influential pioneer of the horror film genre, and has been called an “icon” and the “Father of the Zombie Film.” His zombie films were remade in the 2000s starting with Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, Day of the Dead & a 6th zombie movie in Survival Of The Dead in 2009. Romero died Sunday in his sleep after a “brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer,” according to a family statement to The Times provided by his longtime producing partner, Peter Grunwald. He was 77. Romero died while listening to the score of one his favorite films, 1952’s “The Quiet Man,” with his wife, Suzanne Desrocher Romero, and daughter, Tina Romero, at his side, the family said.

Interrogation (2016)

Interrogation is a 2016 American action film directed by Stephen Reynolds from a screenplay by Adam Rodin and Michael Finch. The film, from WWE productions stars former wrestler Adam “Edge” Copeland and C.J. “Lana” Perry, Patrick Sabongui, Julia Benson and Peter McNulty. The film is the 3rd installment in the Action Six Pack series of films. The film was released on direct-to-DVD in the United States on September 20, 2016.

This movie, shot in Vancouver, Canada with almost all Canadian cast would be of particular interest to WWE and wrestling fans due to the WWE connection. An action thriller, starring former wrestling superstar Edge as an FBI agent Lucas Nolan specialized in interrogation. We see him go in to the middle of a shootout where a terrorist is pumping out bullets from a machine gun. He counts down the number of rounds the gun can shoot and the time interval in seconds that the shooter needs to reload and he bursts in and takes him down, alive. After Vasti, a Middle Easter sounding man walks into an FBI building in Minneapolis and admits to a bomb that explodes nearby, he is arrested and held for questioning.

Mark Law brings in his friend Nolan who he has worked with before which doesn’t sit well with agent Sara Ward. Assisting the team is IT specialist Becky. As Nolan questions Vasti, the criminal mastermind riddles him with clues in his rhetoric. While the others think Vasti is just saying cocky speeches about hating the western world, Nolan is able to pinpoint clues to the whereabouts of further bomb sites and drags Vasti along as they get to the first place. The team is able to avoid loss of human life as the bomb explodes and then move on to Vasti’s apartment where they find more clues. There are fights and shooting and all that which comes in a typical action packed thriller. But the twist comes at the end, when Nolan and Vasti are thought to have died while the former is trying to defuse a bomb at the Federal Reserve building.

The other FBI agents are forced to step out of the vault that Vasti & Nolan are in as the terrorist holds Nolan hostage, having stolen the gun from Sara. Nolan steps in the exchange himself with Sara and triggers the alarm by pushing some money off a table. When it becomes 6pm, the power comes back on in the area which will detonate the bomb in the vault, which Vasti meant to damage the American economy. A virus that Vasti planted erases a lot of data in the FBI systems including records of him. At a eulogy for Nolan, while the FBI pays homage to him, we see Vasti & Nolan incognito outside the building! The two were in on the plan together having grown up as friends since they were kids. Vasti has no middle eastern accent and they spent 5 years giving him an alias hard to track. Before the bomb explodes they transfer money out to a secret account and escape through a shaft. As the two friends leave the vicinity of the FBI building, they then go and meet Nolan’s father, an ex-criminal who was arrested and in prison for many years. With fake passports and a private plane waiting for them, the three of them are set to leave for a new life in parts unknown.

Cheap effects but the movie is watchable. Acting isn’t that great but it’s ok for a dull afternoon. If you like wrestling you might be a fan of Edge and hence give this low budget film a watch. 5.5 outta 10!

Buyers Beware!

The year is 2243, and your computer’s dusty hard drive has just resurfaced at an antique store. Write a note to the curious buyer explaining what he or she will find there.

23rd century and we are in 21 years before the Star Trek TOS era. So, it’s very close to the upcoming Star Trek Discovery era and 91 years after Enterprise launches. See, this is the way the mind of a hard core Trekkie works!

Anyways, back to the prompt – so in 2243 my dusty hard drive has been found and is being kept for sale at an antique store. Wow, Dell you really are good if the hard drive can last that long! But anyway some unsuspecting souls come into the antique store and they look around and find my hard drive. “What’s this?” they ask the owner of the store. The old man who runs the place smiles and tells them that it is a hard drive used for storing data on a computer back from the 20th & 21st century. This one was made in the year 2015!

“Wow!” says the people who want to buy it. “That is ancient! We’ll take it” and then they exchange money, credits, latinum or whatever the heck passes on for currency in 2243. Then the young folks take it to their home and they inter-phase it with they large computer and try to access the files hidden in my hard drive. And they see naked pics of beautiful women, rock music, music pics, Star Trek stuff, movies, pics from movies, pics from tv shows and all other goodies. “Wow, what are Minions? What is Grumpy Cat?” They wonder and they gaze in awe at the stuff in my hard drive.
