Aubameyang Signs New 3 Year Arsenal Deal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a new three-year contract with Arsenal. Having put pen to paper on his new deal, our 31-year-old captain wanted to break the news on Arsenal.com and on social media by telling fans LIVE that he was staying, with the ambition to lift more trophies and leave a long-term legacy. The Gabon international signed from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018 and has since made 111 appearances and scored 72 goals. In his first full season with us, Auba jointly won the Premier League Golden Boot with 22 goals.

Last season he netted 29 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice in the Heads Up FA Cup final victory against Chelsea. He kicked off this season in similar fashion, scoring against Liverpool in the Community Shield as we lifted the trophy on penalties.

“Signing for this special club was never in doubt,” Auba said. “It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here. I believe in Arsenal. We can achieve big things together. We have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for Arsenal.”

Mikel Arteta added: “It was important for Pierre-Emerick to stay with us.  He’s a superb player with an incredible mentality. Being the player to have taken the least amount of time to reach 50 goals with this club tells you everything you need to know about him and his way of working. He’s an important leader for the team and a big part of what we’re building.  He wants to be up there with the best players in the world and leave his mark. He can achieve that here.”

Technical director Edu said: “It’s clear Auba loves the club and everything we stand for on and off the pitch. He’s obviously a very important part of the team so we’re all delighted he has committed his future to us. It’s a big boost for everyone – fans, team-mates and staff.”

2 Muslim Jokes

A guy walks into a Muslim bookstore wearing a Make America Great Again hat…
As he was wandering around taking a look, the clerk asked if he could help the man find anything.

“Do you have a copy of Donald Trump’s book on his U.S. immigration policy regarding Muslims and illegal aliens?”

The clerk said, “Kiss my ass… get out… and stay out!”

The man said, “Yes, that’s the one. Do you have it in paperback?”

A muslim woman is getting arrested
The police officer handcuffs her

“You have the right to remain silent” he says.

She suddenly starts laughing. The police officer notices, and questions her behavior.

“Why, you see, I’m just happy to finally have a right!”

Night Shift Instead

Ah, I was wrong about my shift for this week and probably for the next couple of weeks as well. The latest batch joined the office on Monday and instead of the 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm shift, it is now instead a 9:30 pm to 6:30 am shift. I guess the one hour difference does make some difference. This is ofcourse not that great for my health but it can’t be helped. I need to make sure that I get enough sleep, probably more hours that usual and get lots of rest in between.

But in reality I was working from around 5:30 pm or 6pm yesterday. That’s the worst part as we have a lot of other work that is done in tandem with a large set of new people joining the organization. I worked for 3.5 hours on Sunday to get a bunch of this stuff done and coached a colleague on how he can do the same for another set as well. This looks like we will have to do this again for this weekend as well.

At 3:45 am I stopped to go get some coffee and a small snack (biscuits) and then at 6 I toasted bread for 2 peanut butter sandwiches which was my breakfast. At 6:30 am I quit everything and got into bed so I can watch some Corner Gas and then went to sleep.
