Arsenal Robbed Of 2 Points By Stupid Referee Decision

A second-half goal from Joao Pedro saw Brighton come from behind to draw after Arsenal had Declan Rice sent off in an entertaining game in north London. It looked as though the Gunners were going to continue their perfect start to the season when Bukayo Saka played through Kai Havertz, who lobbed Bart Verbruggen in the Brighton goal for the 38th-minute opener. However, the game completely changed after Declan Rice was dismissed for a second yellow card in the 49th minute for delaying a free-kick being taken by Joel Veltman. The Seagulls defender could also feel lucky to have got away without picking up a card himself.

Brighton piled on the pressure after that point and drew level in the 58th minute when Yankuba Minteh’s shot was parried into the path of Pedro by David Raya and the Brazilian striker slotted the ball under the keeper. Havertz then had a good chance to win the game when through on goal, but his effort was saved by Verbruggen, before Seagulls substitute Yasin Ayari had an effort saved by Raya late in the game. Brighton continued to push for a winner and brought on new £39.5m signing Georginio Rutter as they looked for a magic moment, but he mistimed a header as they could not find the decisive strike. Prior to kick-off, the feeling around the club was already positive following the deadline-day deal to bring Raheem Sterling to the club on loan from Chelsea on favourable terms.

That continued when Havertz lobbed Verbruggen for a delightful strike after a touch by Saka to set him up. But it all started to go downhill for the Gunners from there. Boss Mikel Arteta had his head in his hands when, having already been booked for a late foul on Veltman, midfielder Rice nudged the ball away from the Dutchman and knew a second yellow card was coming. On his 245th Premier League appearance, this was Rice’s first ever red card.On his 245th Premier League appearance, this was Rice’s first ever red card. Arsenal lost any control they had in the match when they went down to 10 men, although Havertz did waste a good opportunity to claim his second goal.

Raheem Sterlin Signs For Arsenal On A Season Long Loan From Chelsea

Arsenal had cemented it’s place as the retirement home for Chelsea rejects, with one last big paycheck and helping their rival to take off some of the salary.

Crystal Palace Announce The Signing Of Eddie Nketiah On A Five-year Deal From Arsenal

Crystal Palace are delighted to announce the signing of Eddie Nketiah on a five-year deal from Arsenal. Growing up in Deptford, Nketiah returns to South London as an England international and an established goalscorer at the highest level. The forward started out in Chelsea’s youth system, but moved to Arsenal aged 14. His prolific attacking returns – including 39 goals in 39 games for the Under-18s – propelled him towards first-team football, where he scored twice in just his second senior appearance.

The striker went on to lift the FA Cup with Arsenal in 2019/20 and, in October 2020, he broke the England Under-21s goalscoring record, finishing with 16 goals in just 17 games at that level. His senior England bow arrived last October, debuting for the Three Lions against Australia. Nketiah concludes his time at Arsenal having netted 38 goals in 168 games – averaging a goal just under every 180 minutes played – and having scored his first Premier League hat-trick, against Sheffield United, last season.

He becomes the club’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window, joining Chadi Riad, Daichi Kamada, Ismaïla Sarr and Maxence Lacroix in Palace’s squad, and will wear the Eagles’ No. 9 shirt.

Aaron Ramsdale Moves To Southampton On A 4 Year Deal

The sought-after 26-year-old England international has moved to St Mary’s on a four-year contract, further strengthening the options in Russell Martin’s squad ahead of the summer transfer window closing. Ramsdale, who has been capped five times at senior level for his country, joins Saints after making 89 appearances for Arsenal over the past three seasons.

During that time, he was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the 2022/23 campaign, as the division’s outstanding goalkeeper, further enhancing the reputation he had built during spells with previous clubs Sheffield United and Bournemouth, with Ramsdale having played a total of 153 top-flight matches in his career to date.

The Saints will pay an initial £18m for the former Sheffield United goalkeeper, with an extra £7m in add-ons. He made 89 appearances for Arsenal after a £26m move to the Emirates from Sheffield United in 2021. “Aaron is a real statement signing for us,” said Saints boss Russell Martin. “I’m very grateful to ownership and the board for making it happen, especially as so many other clubs were keen to get him.” Ramsdale had been linked to a move to Wolves. The former Bournemouth goalkeeper attended Southampton’s play-off win against Leeds United in May in support of close friend David Brooks, who was on loan with the Saints from the Cherries.

5 Benefits Of Manscaping Your Private Areas

Here’s 5 legitimate reasons to buy a body groomer right now and do manscaping:

1. You’ll Look Better
Whether it’s your pecs, your abs or your manhood, a groomed body looks cleaner, younger, more toned and better defined – fact. A distinctly added benefit of keeping yourself trimmed all over is the optical illusion of size. A trimmed groin accentuates your male member making you appear bigger and more impressive.

2. It’s more Hygienic
Hair collects and retains all kinds of molecules; dead skin cells, sweat and urine just to name a few. If not removed these substances can start to fester, especially on a hot day, or in men who don’t shower regularly. This kind of environment is the ideal breeding ground for bacteria and yeast, including STDs. Keeping hairs trimmed short means there is less surface area for this detritus to cling to, thus reducing the spread of bacteria, the growth of yeast infections and unpleasant odours.

3. It Boosts Confidence
Studies consistently show that men who take pride in their appearance are more successful in both their professional and personal lives than men who neglect their looks. Manscaping is about putting your best foot forward and presenting the best version of yourself; one who is groomed, sharp and slick, even in your birthday suit. If you look good and feel good, you’ll have more confidence in yourself and be better perceived by others.

4. You’ll Sweat Less
Sweat exists to help cool the body down. With less hair covering your skin your body is better able to regulate body temperature. This means that you won’t need to sweat as much to release heat from your body, making you feel cooler and dryer, especially in the summer. As well as feeling cleaner, less sweat means less odour and as hair reduces the effectiveness of antiperspirant this gives a double whammy in the smell department. If you’re bit nervous about tackling your whole body, shaving your armpits is a great first step to reducing sweating.

5. It can Improve your Sex Life
While many partners do enjoy the natural look, according to studies, men who regularly groom their nether regions report receiving more oral sex from their intimate partners. In addition a clean, well-groomed manhood is more sensitive, because there isn’t a barrier between the organ and your partner – definitely something to bear in mind. Being a manscaper means that you take care of your personal hygiene seriously and are considerate of your partner; you can thank us later.

The Interior Of The Futuristic Spaceship Of My Dreams

Once again we are going back to my concept of the futuristic world that I wish me & my all my family members & friends are a part of, instead of right now. And I remind you that my family (dad, mom, sister & brother-in-la, nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts & pets) are all traveling through the galaxy to see various alien planets & moons and the sights and alien animals & landscapes and enjoy each other’s company as we do so. So I have booked a spaceship for this purpose and we have several suites that we can stay in/sleep in during the night and enjoy the common large living & recreational areas of the ship during the day and evening time.

So what about about these suites? Well, it works like large apartments within the living quarters area of the ship. Since I could do the designing to customize the ship to our family’s requirements, I was able to make it fit our needs. So for example the first suite as we enter the level, is for my parents & me along with Shawny and our domestic robots. We have a large living and dining area along with sections for computer panels etc. We also have two large bedrooms; one for my parents and one for me. Shawny ofcourse sleeps on my bed.

Similarly for the rest of my family I have customized the suites; like my sister & brother in law have 3 kids – my two nephews and 1 niece – as well as 2 dogs. So they need 4 rooms as the kids all get their own rooms. For each of the families, I have set it up so they all have some privacy and have their own rooms within their suites. Ofcourse we have gym areas, a couple of pools, some game areas, dining sections, a bar area or two and a medical bay. We have a few doctors in our family and they can use the bay to conduct regular checkups on us all.

Now for the bedrooms – we have these huge bedrooms with a large comfortable bed, a desk with a computer console inbuilt into it here you can also use your own personal device. Tv screens and a replicator wardrobe section built into the wall on one section and a food & drink replicator on another section. Plus a couple of sofas in one section of the room. In the attached bathrooms, you also have a large bathroom with a tub, sink/mirror, an enclosed shower and toilet with a separated enclosed shower and toilet section for your dog/cat. Very comfortable and cozy.

Mikel Merino Signs For Arsenal From La Liga Side Real Sociedad

Spain international Mikel Merino has joined us from La Liga side Real Sociedad on a long-term contract. The 28-year-old midfielder has been a vital member of Sociedad’s team since joining the Basque side in 2018. In the heart of their midfield, he made 242 appearances, scoring 27 goals and assisting 30 times. Born in Pamplona, Spain, Mikel started his career with Osasuna. He progressed through their youth ranks into the first team, where he made 67 appearances and scored eight goals. In July 2016, he joined Borussia Dortmund and helped them win the German Cup the following May.

That summer, Mikel joined Newcastle United on a season-long loan and, after making a strong early impression, he was signed on a permanent deal just a couple of months later, going on to make 24 Premier League appearances in his debut season. In 2018, Sociedad signed Mikel and he has played his football there ever since. He played an integral role as they won the 2020 Copa del Rey, and qualified for the Champions League last season, when he won more duels for possession than any other player in Europe’s top leagues, with 326 recoveries. Mikel is an experienced international with 28 appearances for Spain. At youth level, he won the European Under-19 Championship in 2015 and the European Under-21 Championship in 2019. He also has an Olympic silver medal, playing a key role in Spain’s second-place finish at the 2020 Games in Japan.

He was part of the squad that won the 2023 UEFA Nations League, beating Croatia 5-4 on penalties in the Rotterdam final. More recently, the midfielder helped his nation win the European Championships, with Spain beating England 2-1 in the final. Mikel notably made his mark on La Roja’s road to the final, scoring a 119th-minute winner in their quarter-final against Germany. Mikel will wear the number 23 shirt and will immediately join up with his new teammates at Sobha Realty Training Centre. Everyone at Arsenal welcomes Mikel Merino to the club.

Fabio Vierie Sent On A Season-Long Loan Back To FC Porto

Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira has completed a season-long loan move to Porto. The 24-year-old left the Portuguese giants for the Gunners two years ago for around £34.3 million but has since struggled for consistent game time under Mikel Arteta.

Vieira made 22 appearances in his debut season in north London but struggled with injuries last term and subsequently fell down the midfield pecking order. He will now act as Francisco Conceicao’s replacement at Porto, with the Portugal international having been allowed to join Juventus on loan. The imminent £32.6million arrival of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad has increased competition for places in Arsenal’s midfield even further, as well as the emergence of academy graduate Ethan Nwaneri.

In total, Vieira has made 49 appearances for Arsenal to date, scoring three goals and registering nine assists in the process. There will be no option or obligation for Porto to make the deal a permanent arrangement next summer, with Vieira – who has taken the No10 shirt at the Estadio do Dragao recently vacated by Conceicao – still under contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2027. Vieira is the second player to leave Arsenal in the last 24 hours, with academy graduate Charlie Patino having joined Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna on Monday.

Charlie Patino Signs With Deportivo La Coruna For $1.3m

Arsneal have completed the sale of academy graduate Charlie Patino as the 20-year-old moves to Deportivo de La Coruna. Patino had been linked with an exit from Arsenal as he is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans for the future. The 20-year-old has now moved to Spanish second-tier side Deportivo de La Coruna for a reported fee in the region of £1 million ($1.3m) along with the Gunners now holding a significant sell-on clause.

Patino joined Arsenal’s youth system in 2015 at the age of 12 and made his official debut with the senior team during a Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Sunderland at Emirates Stadium in December 2021. The central midfielder spent the last two seasons on loan at Blackpool and Swansea City, however, this season he decided to leave on a permanent deal. Patino has become a fan favourite with Gunners fans over the last couple of years and Arsenal supporters have been asking for the Watford-born player to be incorporated into Arteta’s first team. Fans have also expressed their anger towards the club for their willingness to sell the highly-rated Spanish-British wonderkid.

His senior debut came in December 2021, when he came on as a substitute to score in the Gunners’ Carabao Cup quarter-final against Sunderland at Emirates Stadium. Patino spent time on loan last season with Swansea City in the Championship, making 35 appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists. In a statement, Arsenal thanked the academy gradate for his contribution to the club during his time with them and wished him well for his move.

RIP Sven-Goran Eriksson

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has died at the age of 76. Eriksson, the first non-British manager of the England team, led the Three Lions to the quarter-finals at three major tournaments during his five-year spell in charge between 2001 and 2006. After a playing career as a right-back, Eriksson went on to experience major success in club management between 1977 and 2001, winning 18 trophies with a variety of league clubs in Sweden, Portugal, and Italy.  In January, Eriksson said he had “at best” a year to live after being diagnosed with cancer. His children, Lina and Johan, said on Monday: “Our father Sven-Goran Eriksson fell asleep peacefully in his home at Bjorkefors outside Sunne this morning. He has for a long time fought bravely with his illness, but now it came to an end.

Eriksson managed 12 clubs, including Manchester City, Leicester, Roma and Lazio, winning 18 trophies. The Swede also had spells in charge of Mexico, Ivory Coast and the Philippines. After retiring as a player at the age of 27, he began his managerial career with Degerfors in 1977 before joining fellow Swedish side Gothenburg, where he won the league title, two domestic cups and the 1982 Uefa Cup. He then went on to enjoy two spells with Portuguese giants Benfica as well as managing Italian sides Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Lazio – where he won seven trophies including the Serie A title, two Italian Cups and the European Cup Winners’ Cup. Following his diagnosis, Eriksson spent the year visiting some of his former clubs, including Lazio and Sampdoria.

Eriksson was married to Ann-Christine Pettersson from July 1977 until their divorce in 1994. They had two children. In May 1998, Eriksson was introduced to Italian-American lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio, and they began a relationship six months later. In 2001, they relocated to London. In early 2002, Eriksson had an affair with British-Swedish television presenter Ulrika Jonsson, but he returned to Dell’Olio. In August 2004, he had an affair with British-Bangladeshi secretary Faria Alam. Eriksson’s autobiography, My Story, was published in November 2013.

Exploring A Snow & Ice Planet

Well after the events that I previously posted here we all settle in our suites post dinner and go to have a big dinner. Late at night as every slowly gets up and retires to their suites for much needed sleep, I wave good night to my cousins and the kids who are barely able to keep their eyes open – the elders have already reach their designated suites and are changing into their night gowns. Once again, a sleepy Shawny is waiting for me to finish my work on the bridge and giving co-ordinates to the bridge crew of robots. That done Shawny and I walk to the elevator and go to our suite.

Some of the relatives are still talking as they walk around in their pjs. In my parents & my suite, I see my parents are still up talking to my sister who is in with them. And I see that Junior seems to want some pets from me and she decides that she is gonna sleep in my bed tonight. So I walk into my room and change as both the dogs jump into my bed. I call out for the lights and get in between the sheets and before I can settle in, I hear two pups snoring lightly. Strangely, as I smile, it doesn’t bother me and I sleep soundly.

So 29 hours later, we finally reach the star system that has the planet which is our next destination. It is a cold planet that is mostly snow and ice and which has a twin planet. On this planet that has very little life, the human federation has a small colony of about 1019 humans and a small collection of pets. The other planet has a thriving population of a humanoid type species with a lot of fish, birds and animals and they are friendly towards us. The humanoid species couldn’t colonize the ice planet and want nothing to do with it but some of our scientists wanted to study the ice planet and hence the colony was formed.

Usually some humans come to explore the planet and it’s beautiful snow covered landscapes and the ice. This is why we are here. After we land and contact the colony, we get some suggestions as to where to explore. We head out and have fun in the snow, as our vehicles turn into snow mobiles at the push of a button and enjoy the scenery. At night we decide to take up the offer from the colony to sleep in these habitats shaped like an egg or an eye. Each habitat can house 15 people or so and we settle in with our pets and enjoy a night sleeping on the planet.

Five Big Tips For Those Wanting To Start A Blog In 2024

Starting a blog can be an exciting venture, whether it’s for sharing your passions, building a brand, or generating income. Here are some essential tips to help you get started:

1. Choose The Right Platform

A lot of folks start with popular free blogging platforms like Blogger, Medium, or WordPress.com, but these blogging platforms are limited. You don’t want to waste your time there if you’re serious about blogging. First, you’ll have to follow the terms and conditions of these platforms, and they have the right to shut down your blog without any notice. Also, there’s no guarantee that you will be able to export your content should they shut off your blog. You can only use the features available on their platform which are limited. Most free platforms also restrict you from making money blogging.

2. Find The Perfect Domain name

Choosing the right domain name is very important. I had a wildly successful blog called List25.com which had over 2.3 million YouTube subscribers and over 500 million video views. But in hindsight, I wish I didn’t add a number in the domain because it restricted us to only 25 items in a list. Choose a domain name that is easy to pronounce, spell, and as short as possible.

3. Choosing The Right Hosting is Very Important

Choosing the right web hosting is by far one of the most important decisions when starting a blog because this is where your website files are stored. Many beginners like the idea of getting free hosting, but choosing a free website hosting is always a bad idea, and it will end up costing you more money and time in the end.

4. Always Keep Regular Backups

Often users don’t think about backups until it’s too late. In the early days, I chose a cheap web hosting provider that wasn’t very well-known, and they had a hardware failure. I lost my entire website because I didn’t have a backup. Many hosting companies offer limited backups. However, these backups are not guaranteed, and a hardware failure can cause you to lose data as well as the backup. Backups are your first line of defense against brute force attacks, hacking, and data theft. They are the first step to improving your WordPress security and keeping your website safe.

There are plenty of reliable WordPress backup plugins that allow you to schedule automatic backups and store them in remote locations like Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, and more.

5. Setup Google Analytics from Day 1

You can’t grow your site if you don’t know how people find and use your website. Like many beginners, I too relied on “guesswork” and “winging it” to get the job done until I learned the importance of website analytics. Google Analytics is the best analytics software in the world used by millions of websites. It allows you to see your most popular content, where your visitors are coming from, and more. It also helps you track user engagement across your website, which helps you improve your business using real numbers instead of guesswork. If you are running an online store, then you can use it to track customers and boost your conversions.

Aston Villa 0 Arsenal 2

Arsenal survived their latest severe examination from bogey side Aston Villa to emerge with a statement victory after a thunderous encounter at Villa Park. In a tale of two goalkeepers, Arsenal’s David Raya produced a miraculous second-half save from Ollie Watkins with the scoreline goalless before opposite number Emi Martinez blundered to allow Thomas Partey’s shot to squirm through his hands to gift the Gunners a vital two-goal cushion. Arsenal were hanging on after Watkins missed a golden chance in the first half to put Villa ahead but the pivotal moment came after the break when Raya somehow recovered his ground to make a stunning one-handed stop from the England striker after Amadou Onana’s shot bounced back off the bar.

Mikel Arteta’s side took full advantage to go ahead after 67 minutes, substitute Leandro Trossard scoring with his first touch after replacing Gabriel Martinelli, with a smooth finish low past Martinez’s outstretched left hand. Partey increased Arsenal’s lead 10 minutes later to seal a triumph that will taste particularly sweet after Villa inflicted damage on their title charge last season by completing a league double. Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta will have seen this visit to Villa Park as an early chance to demonstrate that they mean business once more in the title race as they faced the side who proved such a thorn in their side last season. In a pursuit full of fine margins, Villa’s two league wins over Arsenal, particularly the 2-0 win at Emirates Stadium in mid-April, were hugely damaging as they lost the title to Manchester City by just two points.

And they will see this win, full of grit and with the occasional sprinkling of good fortune, as one of huge significance as they finally try to bridge the gap and turn themselves into champions. As expected, Villa provided a stern test and Arsenal were grateful for the misfiring finishing of Watkins but most of all to the brilliance of goalkeeper Raya, who sprung to his left as the home supporters got ready to celebrate to pull off a magnificent save with the score 0-0 and this tight encounter on a knife-edge. It proved to be the turning point. Arsenal cashed in on that moment, Trossard once again proving how valuable he is with a clinical finish to break the deadlock. The Gunners were on their way.

Partey’s second eased any potential late nerves as Villa ran out of ideas, the celebrations between Arsenal’s players and fans after the final whistle demonstrating the importance of these three points, even coming so early in this campaign.
