Life Without Maintaining A Journal Or A Blog

Suppose you had not used a planner or journal this year. How do you think your life would be different?

I am not sure. I do think that writing a blog or a journal is very theraputic and over a long period of time it starts to become an essential part of you and your routine. I do get a lot of ideas but usually it’s not the right time to start jotting the points down as I am busy with something else or it’s just not the right time for it. However I do try and make a note so that I can me back to it. Not being able to blog is a little bit of a frightening thought.

I started a journal when I as 14 and continued that habit, which was a very minimalist type of journal, well into my 20s. It was less during the ages of 17 to 19. Some days it would be just what I watched on tv that day and/or what music albums I listened to that day. I would also capture my thoughts and what happened on that day in particular in 2 to 3 lines. And perhaps a little doodle. I picked up doing a journal once again when I was 20 and by 21 I made sure to write everyday.

By 26 I started my first blog on Blogger.com and then another in 2005. By 2007 I started this one and I have been at almost every day. It is a huge part of who I am and I can’t think about stopping. Forget just this year, my life would be so different. What else do I have to share my feelings and thoughts? It is just here!
