Take The Large Diamond Before The Aliens Can

Getting back to the journeys of my family, set in the fantastic futuristic science fiction universe that I have created in my mind, read this post and the remaining before you proceed. Ok, all caught up? Now read on!

Ok, post the activities and excitement of the alien circus stuff, most of us felt kinda pooped! The kids too felt a bit drained and it felt like a good time to chill out and do nothing. The next few days, everyone lazed around for the most part but the kids caught up on school classes. Some of my cousins too spent a few hours each day on their respective work for back home but we had sleep in mornings and late breakfasts followed by a few hours of work or studies in our suites and then a nap post lunch. The elders too did the same. Evenings were a lot more fun and we spent them mostly together for big family dinners.

Almost a week goes by and one of my youngest female cousin comes to me and asks me if we could find a class-human like planet (a planet which is similar to the conditions of our home base planets) but without any humanoid life on it. She wanted to conduct some studies there for her research papers. I said sure and we went to the bridge and took a scan. Another cousin sister had heard this and she wanted to join in on the scans and studies for her work. Perfect, so on the bridge the 3 of us decided to go a scan and find something suitable. However, that was when I was contacted by a colleague on the starfleet like band.

The colleague was on a small science & research vessel who had been called away for lending a hand to a less advanced alien race who were friendly. However they had previously been tracking an enemy alien race’s two ships were headed in the same area as I was headed to and he told me of a possibility of a rare diamond like stone, that is used for powering a deadly weapon. We don’t have much communication with this alien race. If we could keep them away from it, it would be really good. He asked me if I could take a look. It felt like a simple thing to do, so we headed to the planet which was one of just 12 in a large star system. The diamond was on a class-human like planet that just so happens to have a few animal species but no humanoids or advanced life.

So I found that if I hid the ship behind one of the moons, the chemical composition of the moon interfered with scans just enough to make us unscannable unless you knew what to look for.  So I got the pilot robots to put us in orbit and then my cousins and I beamed ourselves as close as possible to the location of the huge diamond based on our scans. Once again, it is just my cousins and I with a few robots. Yes dogs are included in their enclosed robots. I then command the pilots to take the ship behind the moon I had mentioned. We take scans and find that the diamond is inside a cave, a tunnel of caves inside a mountain range. We are walking distance from the entrance and therefor head towards it on foot.

Now, we walk towards the cave but the two female cousins, who are running scans of the star system via our ship’s systems, inform me that there are two alien ships that match the description of the alien race, are headed this way. They haven’t seemed to have scanned our vessel or seen it but they were headed towards this planet. We had little time to spare. So we headed inside the cave and found the huge diamond, the size of a full grown cow, deep inside the cavern. As we did this, the two ships were now in orbit and then beamed a small group of the aliens near the area of the cave. It looks like they hadn’t discovered the diamond yet but had scanned the area and knew the rough location of it.

Quickly I commanded our ship to come back into order and we beamed the diamond into storage in our ship. My cousins and I beamed ourselves back into our ship, once we reached the mouth of the cave, just a few minutes before the aliens reached the cavern. They did see a brush moving – which was touched by one of my cousin sister before we all got beamed out – but don’t see us. As I head to the bridge, followed by a few of my cousins, the rest head to go to the main living room area where my uncles, aunts and parents are sitting with the kids (it is almost lunch time). The elders are wondering what the fuss was regarding the two alien ships, so my cousins informed them what had happened. It looks like they haven’t been able to detect our ship yet, but they know that something was up and that someone had just beaten us to it. The brush moving without a breeze blowing, was a dead give away.

On the bridge, I check to see if the alien ships have detected us and since it doesn’t seem to be, I quickly get the pilot bots to move us behind the same moon once again. We decide to wait it out behind the moon and wait till the aliens have left as their two ships are in orbit and their away teams are still down on the planet. If I had a Starfleet team with me and if I was on a military ship, I would have stayed longer but since my family is with me – safe from harm but I want to avoid a confrontation, I tell the pilot to wait till the best time to leave the moon and then hit warp factor 6 as soon as possible. We managed to get away without being detected and with the large red diamond in our storage.

I decided to head out to the nearest Deep Space Starfleet station and drop the diamond off although there was no hurry. The cousins who were with me on the bridge seemed to be really excited and we headed out of the bridge and changed to comfortable clothes and then went to have lunch with everyone. Our elders and kids had a lot of questions about the aliens and the diamond and we regaled them with the story of what we saw down on the planet as our ship took us on the 3 day journey to a space station so we can hand over the large gem.

Some Fun Facts About The French Bulldog AKA The Frenchie

The French Bulldog Is a Surprisingly Good Watchdog

Although not yappy, they’ll bark to let you know if someone’s at the door. The breed can be a little territorial, but that’s where their job ends: don’t expect them to be a guard dog.

Frenchies Are Adaptable

From an apartment to a country house, French Bulldogs are happy in a variety of living environments. They aren’t a particularly athletic breed and are perfectly happy with daily walks and maybe a bit of an outdoor romp to keep them in shape.

They’re an Ideal Companion Dog

They’re the best pal for singles, families with kids, couples, anyone. Playful, loyal, and loving, they require minimal grooming and exercise.

Frenchies Are Relatively Easy to Train

Despite a reputation for stubbornness, they’re eager to please and enjoy being the center of attention.

French Bulldogs Earned Their Reputation for Stubbornness

Nobody’s perfect. But, with a little patience and the proper motivation (treats), they’re willing to learn. Turn training into a game, and your French Bulldog is all in.

Those Bulldog Jaws Are Powerful

Choose indestructible toys for your French Bulldog and expect a vigorous game of tug-of-war. Although you can pry those jaws open if necessary, your Frenchie will hold on to their target and may tear it apart.

Frenchies Require Minimal Grooming

The French Bulldog’s coat sheds minimally and doesn’t require a lot of grooming. Weekly brushing with a medium-bristle brush or rubber grooming mitt should help keep their smooth coat looking its best.

French Bulldogs Are Good With Strangers

This charming breed enjoys making new friends and gets along well with other dogs and humans. Like all dogs, Frenchies should be supervised for interactions and introductions with unfamiliar dogs or people, but most are very fond of people.
