My Best Friend

It’s her third death anniversary today. 3 years ago, she died. 3 years. The pain will never go away. I don’t believe in god or fairies. I don’t believe in heaven. However I would like it if there is an after life, where you never get sick and you can do anything you want and you ‘live’ forever. On a planet where you have anything & everything that you have ever wanted. And I’m sure I could have my own adventures and go off exploring stuff. And my dog would ofcourse be with me. By my side. My best friend. Ever. She can never be replaced. So I’m not even gonna try.

Oh, my dear, I am so sorry. I had a Golden Retriever called Henry who passed away five years ago and I still cry for him. He was the best dog ever. I can never replace him, either. I feel sad for you. Sending you lots of ((((hugs)))).

Just what is it with dogs and us. They take up such a big part of your heart and they leave you so early. But I consider myself lucky to have had such a selfless and loving friend. My very presence was enough for her and I loved to pet her. She was the best.

Aw, I’m sorry. It’s never easy losing a loved one – especially one who has four legs and a fursuit.

Thanks Linda. I know its been a while but I think about her almost everyday.
