What are some (or one) of the things about which you usually don’t trust your own judgment, and need someone’s else’s confirmation?
It depends. I usually ask a second opinion about things I am not so sure about which are usually like when it’s time to buy a new computer/laptop or a new phone. I always ask around, get opinions of friends, colleagues, techie guys and websites that do a lot of reviews on these things. Medical situations too. Especially before you have to make a big decision that will affect your life and/or the life of a loved one.
Infact anything that is scientific or technical based I usually do ask around for 2nd, 3rd, 4th ….nth opinions. Anything too complicated like politics is also good to discuss and debate at length with all the facts around you. And it’s not that I don’t trust my own judgement or that you shouldn’t either but it’s always good to know as much as you can about a subject and to get as many varied views on the topic at hand before coming to a final conclusion.
There are many other things which I usually trust to my own judgement. But I find that it is always good to have a renewed look at them ever so often just to see if your judgement has withstood the passage of time. It it has, pat yourself on the back for deciding wisely and if it hasn’t, time to change it.
