Afghani Chicken: Creamy & Delicious

This recipe of Afghani chicken is lip smacking delicious and different. Chicken glazed with distinctive ingredients and grilled. Cooked in about 30 minutes, this chicken recipe is a great option to have as a starter or appetizer at a dinner party or any special occasion. Goodness of cream mixed with rich cashews, poppy seeds and melon seeds along with pepper infused in chicken and grilled to perfection.

Preparation Method:

  • Step 1 : Here’s how you can prepare this delicious Afghani recipe, wash the chicken pieces and let them dry. Take a bowl and add ginger paste, garlic paste, lime juice and salt. Mix the ingredients well and keep aside.

  • Step 2 : Then, take a bowl and marinate the chicken pieces with the mixture and keep it aside for about 20 minutes.

  • Step 3 : After half an hour, add cashews paste, cheese spread, cream and whisked eggs to the mix. Let it stay for another 10 minutes.

  • Step 4 : Once marinated, place the chicken pieces in the skewers by slightly pricking on the chicken pieces and roast them in a preheated tandoor for another 5 minutes.

  • Step 5 : Once the chicken pieces appear to be cooked, serve them hot with any chutney of your choice.
