Tomorrow is my birthday, a prospect that I’m not looking forward to too much. I hate the years that pass by and as age catches up with me, I am reminded of that fact that I have not accomplished much in life. There are so many things that I have wanted to do, so much that is expected of me. So much stuff left to do. I hate thinking of that. I wish I could start all over again and do much better. I know that it is not possible but if I could, I would do things differently.
At the same time, I am grateful for several things that have happened. And I can’t say that I have had a difficult life just a disappointing one. I am happy & grateful for most of the experiences that I have had, the friends & relationships that I have made (won’t give them up for anything) and I know that you gotta crawl before you walk. I am grateful for the music I listen to & the good times that I have had. But I’m not getting any younger and so many things pending. So much to do, so little time to do things.
Song for the day – “THE BIG WHEEL” – AARON PRITCHETT

That artist will be singing at the park south of where I grew up.
Happy Birthday!
(ooh, strange, I was playing my iPod, and BNL started singing Happy Birthday right when I typed that!)
