If money were out of the equation, would you still work? If yes, why, and how much? If not, what would you do with your free time?
It would depend. If there are alternate sources of working and bettering yourself by gaining knowledge I would rather go for that. Or indulge in an activity that gives me and others pleasure and satisfaction. If the two can be combined that would be really awesome.
So imagine if you had a sudden inflow of cash – you win the lottery or you are bequeathed a fortune when a filthy rich relative or someone you happen to have had a great impression on left you their large estate – and you can live in luxury and travel the world in style and never have to work another day of your life and/or worry about money again. Go do all the things that you have wanted to do and never worry or feel guilty about spending so much of your time on your hobbies.
We could also spend more time on social awareness and charity stuff. That kinda thing needs more time. So yes, bring it on!
