I couldn’t get to the bank today to try and get a new ATM card : they have something called an InstaCard, where they issue you a new card on the spot. I think activation is done on the same day.
Back to work today after a 3 day weekend just for me. It just takes sometime to get used to being back at work. Even after 3 days!

I tried to apply for a credit card with Axis Bank but it turns out that my company is blacklisted due to what some stupid executives did a couple of years ago. I guess I’m going to have to wait a bit more or have my salary magically increase by 30%.

My appraisal is due by July, so I should be getting that hike by August 1st when pay day arrives. I am not sure by how much it will go up but the standard is 30% although the company can find a way around it as well. I dunno.
