I love coffee a lot. Infact I could say that it’s my favourite beverage and even though I need a hot cup in the morning to wake myself up completely and sometimes in the evenings as well, I do love me a cold one.

The cheapest way for me to get my cold coffee fix – as most cafes are expensive and places like Costa Coffee, Starbucks & when they finally do arrive here, Tim Hortons as well – is via a smaller outlet that makes a simpler yet decent one. The coffee, tea, juice & snacks stall at my office does a good one that keeps me going. They just use the regular stuff that they can get and keep the price very low at just Rs. 60 for a 350 to almost 400 ml cup.

So usually at work several times in a week, I take my coffee tumbler with a lid and lock, and give it to the stall and ask them to make me a cold one. I usually drink it in the late afternoons as I mostly need the pick me up at that time. It’s delicious and yet so simple and it does the job.
