American actor Ben Woolf, who was hospitalized after being hit on the head by a speeding car on Feb 19, died last night after he suffered a massive stroke. Woolf recently appeared as the character “Meep” in season 4 of American Horror Story. He was just 34 years old.
Woolf was struck in the head by the side mirror of a passing car at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Gramercy Place in Los Angeles, an LAPD spokesperson told reporters on Feb. 20. The driver remained at the scene, and Woolf was transported to a nearby hospital. Woolf died Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, publicist Zack Teperman said. Woolf’s family was at his side.
Woolf was a cast member on the FX show in its first season, in 2011, when he played a character called the Infantata. He is also well known for his role in Dead Kansas. Woolf was born with pituitary dwarfism, and was a preschool teacher as well as an actor.
