Here is a classic PB&J with a crunchy twist! Not only does this recipe only require four ingredients, but the amount of each ingredient is also up completely up to you, below is just a guideline!Ā ?????
Recipe
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 teaspoon peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons any flavor fruit jelly
PB&J French Toast
This recipe is a bit closer to the PB & J sandwich we all know and love, however, this one has a fun twist that makes it into the perfect breakfast food! This recipe is beyond simple and makes a regular peanut butter and jelly sandwich into a warm, buttery, and delicious comfort meal!
Recipe
For French Toast:
- 2 slices French Bread or bread of your choice
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- pinch cinnamon
- pinch brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter
For Sandwich:
- Peanut Butter
- Strawberry Jelly
- Powdered Sugar (optional)
- Syrup (optional)
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cupĀ JifĀ®Ā Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter Spread
- 1/4 cupĀ Smucker’sĀ®Ā Natural Concord Grape Fruit Spread
- 4 strips bacon cooked
- 4 round frozen whole grain waffles thawed
- 2 tablespoons Canola Oil
PB & J BACON WAFFLE SANDWICH
DIRECTIONS
- Step 1 : LAYER peanut butter, fruit spread and bacon on one side of 2 waffles. Place remaining waffles on top to form two sandwiches.
- Step 2 : HEAT panini press or large skillet over medium heat. Brush tops of sandwiches with oil. Turn and brush bottoms with remaining oil.
- Step 3 : COOK sandwiches in skillet 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from heat. Cut each sandwich in half.
