What is your love language? What makes you feel most loved? Does your partner know?
Well I don’t have a girlfriend or wife or mistress so they won’t know. But my love language is hugs and kisses. Doing little things to let her know that I am thinking of her. Getting things for her that she knows that I am not into or don’t like but that she enjoys. Surprising her with her favourite chocolates or knicknacks or flowers.
Planning surprise dinners or holiday getaways – even if it’s just a 2 day stay in a cottage or a nice hotel room with lots of room service. A change is good every now and then. Back at home, making her breakfast in bed with coffee, juice and our favourite things for breakfast – coffee & juice, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, toast and fruits. In whatever combination we like. Spending time together itself is a great way to show how much you love each other.
Ok, cooking and ordering food. Food is a way to show love. Cooking a great meal for your loved one, one that has ingredients she loves or the meat she likes the best (be it fish, lamb, pork, chicken, beef or anything else) is a great way to show your spouse how much you love them by letting their choice shine instead of yours. How about cooking together? Awesome! Plan your meals together or surprise them with a take away or home delivery order of meals from their favourite restaurant. Indulge in some delicious desserts that you can both use for some playful flirting and feed each other.
Finally, entertainment is also very key to showing love. Planning movies or tv shows to watch together. Playing music that you both love or if you play instruments, playing & singing songs together is so sweet & romantic. How about playing some games together whether it is a physical game or a board/card game (strip poker anyone?) – it doesn’t matter. Just do it together and enjoy the pleasure of being together. And ofcourse later on, play in the bedroom!
