Where I Am Being Put Up In Gurgaon

Well, tickets are booked. Hotel room is booked. I will be staying in a nice and not too expensive hotel (for rich people, for me it still is expensive) with – going by the information on the website as to what they are offering – an air-conditioner, free wi-fi, free breakfast and a tv with cable. Ofcourse bathroom comes attached. There will be three of us from the company, one from my office and one guy from one of our Chennai office. My flight is at 10:55 am on the 13th (Sunday) and we expect to reach Delhi by 14:10 pm. From there I think it’s about an hour’s drive away.

The hotel is located at an accessible distance from Airport, Railway station and Bus Station. I hope it’s not too far away from the place we are attending the training from the clients. There are various notable places available near to the hotel such as Sikanderpur metro station and Sahara Mall is just at a stroll away. Other places of interest are MGF Mall (2 kms), Metropolitan Mall (1.5 kms), Leisure Valley Park (4 kms), Gurgaon Central Mall (4 kms) and Kingdom of Dream (4 kms) away.

We have plans on Saturday & Sunday that we have in between the 8 days of training (which will be the 19th & the 20th) and will try to go to as many places as possible. Agra and the Taj Mahal might be too much for this trip, but I do want to try some microbreweries in the area as Gurgaon is the brewery capital of India. I have never had craft beer before in my life.

Not bad? The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk offering prompt assistance to hotel guests, Wi-Fi internet access, card payment, room service, parking and guest can also avail the facility of doctor-on-call in case of medical emergency. It accommodates elegant and pleasant air-conditional rooms along with amenities like television, phone, newspaper and attached bathroom with essential toiletries. I hope it’s a nice stay.
