Happy 2nd Blogaversary

Happy 2nd Blogaversary to me. Well it’s been 2 years to the exact date. Back in 2007 I had setup this blog in a day with the help of my cousin (over the phone). He guided me through the process and by night I had the thing setup. Then I installed WordPress and started blogging.

I’ve loved blogging here. To be fair I’ve been blogging from 2002 in blogger.com but it wasn’t something I took seriously till 2005 September. I moved to a new blogger site and poured my heart out. Then once I got this domain & server space, it’s been like a best friend to me. I consider it a way to unwind and relax and a kind of therapy. I’ve made a lot of friends here and my regular readers are people who I really appreciate. Although I started blogging only for myself, now I’m blogging for a few of you as well.

So thank you, regular readers. I hope you continue to come by and stay as long as you want to. I’m at 1,431 blog posts with 1,183 approve comments. Keep the comments coming.

Crappy New Year; Welcome 2009

Well it’s 2009 – officially and truly here! Does it feel any different than 2008? Not a thing so far. Well duh! It’s only 7:53 am on the 1st of Jan; how different can it be?

I fell asleep at just after midnight while trying to watch some tv and woke up at 4:30 am with the lights on and the sound on. I switched it off and went to take a leak. I took a big drink of water amd then tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn’t. The mosquitos were biting as well so at around 5:15 am I started watching Friends season 6. Nothing like Friends under the tuscan sun download to put you in a better mood.

By 7 I had brushed my teeth and made my first cup of strong black coffee and sat the computer to check out what’s happening and to play some music. Hope the coffee is an indication of the way 2009 will turn out to be.

Turns out that the coffee sucks! :P Happy New Year, everyone!
