Releasing The Horror In A Box

You wake up one morning to find a beautifully wrapped package next to your bed. Attached to it is a note: “Open me, if you dare.” What’s inside the mystery box? Do you open it?

“What’s this? A beautifully wrapped package next to my bed? But I didn’t leave it there so who could have done this? I this a present for me? I wonder what it could be – is it a phone or a book or some food or some drink? What could it be?”

This is what went through my mind as I saw the package lying next to my bed as I woke up this morning. I picked it up and placed it on my dining table. I got myself a cup of coffee and set it to one side. Eagerly I ripped the wrapping paper and found a wooden box. Oooh what is inside it? Paying no heed to the voice inside my head shouting “Pandora, Pandora” I opened it and saw that inside was……

……a single piece of paper on which was written “Thank you for letting me out. I’ve been stuck inside this magic box for a few thousand years. Be seeing you soon!” And now I’m scared!
