Automation has made it possible to produce so many objects — from bread to shoes — without the intervention of human hands (assuming that pressing a button doesn’t count). What things do you still prefer in their traditional, handmade version?

Food. Handmade pizza is so much more better than the fast food version. Individually made for your taste, handmade is always gonna be better. So is bread and cake for that matter.

Now shoes; I saw this video about good handmade leather shoes in England and Italy where they measure your feet and make the shoes custom for you. They last longer and fit your feet much better. That is still awesome and I would love to get some.

Clothes too. I get my pants stitched and they are a much better fit and comfort for me. I am also extremely fat so there is the need but still, I know that tailored pants are much better comfort and fit wise.
