What is your favorite thing about social media?

My absolute favourite thing about social media is connecting with like minded people. Kindred spirits. People who have a taste for the same kind of silly humour I have and like and have the same interests like me – football, movies, atheism, scifi, horror, rock n roll and other stuff – and can appreciate a good joke or two.

I have a couple of friends on Twitter who seem to be very like minded. Also on Facebook, meeting the first time in a shared interest in atheism, scifi shows, movies, horror, music or football and then becoming friends on Facebook as well. That is the best outcome that can happen when you spend many an hour on social media.

Other than that, finding links to some good music or video clip is also an awesome thing. Dirty little jokes and memes too!
