Parasite (2019)

Parasite is a 2019 South Korean black comedy thriller film directed by Bong Joon-ho, who co-wrote the screenplay with Han Jin-won. The film, starring Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, Park So-dam, Jang Hye-jin, and Lee Jung-eun, follows a poor family who scheme to become employed by a wealthy family and infiltrate their household by posing as unrelated, highly qualified individuals. Among its numerous accolades, Parasite won a leading four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film, becoming the first non-English language film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture & the the Palme d’Or.

Favourite Time Of The Day

What is your favorite time of the day. Why?

My favourite time of the day is the evening coffee time on a weekend. Well it’s also good during the work week as well but the evenings between 5pm and 7pm for me is a special time of the day. I usually watch a movie or two from 1pm to 5pm and will be lazing in bed while I watch it. Sometimes I might even nap for an hour or so. By 5pm I am eagerly looking forward to getting that coffee.

I get up and go to the washroom to wash my face. Then I head to the kitchen to boil water. Sometimes my dad would already have the kettle going. I then look and see what light snacks or biscuits we have. I take a small bowl of it back to my bedroom and fire up the laptop and open up my browsers. By that time the water would have boiled and I go make my coffee and bring it to my room and eat my snack while I wait for the coffee to cool.

Since the coffee is boiling hot, it takes me time to finish it. I will be checking out Youtube videos and/or writing up a blog post (like I am now). By 7pm I will get my second cup of coffee and the rest of the evening is up for grabs.
