Arsenal Have Reached An Agreement To Sign Ben White

Arsenal have reportedly found an agreement with Brighton and Hove Albion for the transfer of Ben White, the player has agreed a five-year deal and a date for his medical has been scheduled. Earlier this week it was reported that a deal between Arsenal and Brighton was getting closer. Now, all reports claim that the Gunners have seen off last-minute interest from Chelsea to secure the deal and the Mail report his medical will take place on 26 July. Arsenal had previous bids of £40m and £427m turned down for the defender, who was said to be keen to join the club. Arsenal have now offered the full £50m and Ben White will become an Arsenal player.

White is expected to undergo his Arsenal medical when he returns from holiday following his involvement in England’s Euro 2020 squad. The £50m fee will make White Arsenal’s third most expensive signing ever after Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. White emerged as manager Mikel Arteta’s primary target to operate as a right-sided centre-back and it is set to constitute a record outlay by Arsenal for a defender. There was interest in White from other suitors but most of them were under the impression that he was joining Arsenal and no rival offers are believed to have been received by Brighton so far.

White was away with England during their European Championship campaign but after featuring in warm-up matches against Austria and Romania, he did not make an appearance as England lost to Italy in the final. He is currently on holiday ahead of pre-season. Released from Southampton in 2014, White was signed by Brighton and following temporary spells at Newport County, Peterborough United and most notably Leeds United, he broke into the first team at the Amex Stadium last season and was one of the top-flight’s stand-out performers.

Rainy Three Day Weekend With Nothing To Do But Chill

That’s all I want to do. Why? Because it’s a three day weekend during the monsoon season. It’s been a long while since I had a 3 day weekend and this rainy day 3 day weekend is a welcome respite. The reason I have a 3 day weekend is because the next two weeks I will be conducting training remotely for new hire folks in Chennai. This came as a sudden request due to some goof up in planning or something that they had. Hence 3 of us from the Cochin site will be conducting training for the 60 odd folks split into 3 batches. It could be more than – maybe 23-25 per batch.

Anyways, since the batches are scheduled to run Tuesday to Saturday, that means I get Sunday & Monday off and I shouldn’t be asked to work 6 days a week without extra pay for no reason, hence I get this Monday off too. Three Day weekend woo-hoo! So what do I have planned for myself? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. All I plan to do is to get some good food – maybe a pizza or fried chicken and a drink, wrap myself in my bedsheets and watch a bunch of movies in the comfort of my bedroom.

On the other hand – since I do have a 3 day weekend, I guess I should try and go out either on Sunday or Monday. I could use a haircut and I haven’t had any beer in ages. So I guess I could book an Uber rental and go and get some groceries, some beer and get a haircut in one of the saloons that are open now.

It’s Oreo Cookies In A 5 Star Bar

What is this – two of my favourites in one? A 5Star Oreo bar? Mondelez India, the makers and bakers of some of India’s favourite snacking brands – Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Bournvita, and Oreo among others, had launched in March a chocolate bar called Cadbury 5Star Oreo, strengthening their premium snacking portfolio and empowering consumers with more choice, yet again.

This stellar combination of the creaminess and crunchiness of OREO and the chocolatey caramel zest of Cadbury 5Star is a sandwich in a sandwich, which aims to entice and tantalize the taste buds of the consumers who are constantly exploring newer eat experiences. Layered with chocolate, caramel, Oreo cream and biscuit chunks, each bite of this decadent duo is sure to leave you with a scrumptious lingering taste. The launch of the multi-textured Cadbury 5Star Oreo will be supported by a 360-degree integrated marketing communication, which includes strong digital, innovative outdoor, solid in-store visibility and engagement building influencer activity. Priced at Rs. 35, Cadbury 5Star Oreo is sure to bring the most delicious and crunchy indulgence experience ever and I can’t wait to try one.
