Emile Smith Rowe converted from Lacazette’s pass and Eddie Nketiah’s lovely flicked backheel from Cedric Soares’ cross sealed the win. Arsenal host Leeds in round four.
The Gunners should have beaten the Dons by more after hitting the woodwork twice.
