I have this nasty cough bothering me since late last night. I knew that I should have stayed back home and rested for another day because, without recovering atleast 85% and sitting in the air conditioned office will not be good for me. As it is I was just 60% recovered. I did my work, as of it as I could and it was an ok day, except for my discomfort.
I enjoyed listening to my new Ipod shuffle; I managed to store 231 songs in it’s flash memory through i-Tunes yesterday morning. I do hate the fact that I have to get my songs through the i-Tunes software and cannot just copy the songs that I want directly onto the drive of the i-pod. But after testing & trying out the i-Tunes method 3 times, I have now got the hang of it. And I am enjoying having all that great music with me wherever I go. It’s a blast!
Nothing solid has come through from any of the job applications that I sent out but I was expecting that. The first one that I tried may work out but it will take time as they are in the middle of a huge project now and finishing that is their top priority. The second one, I had no hopes since I learnt that they require an accounts & commerce background for the job I was applying for. So I dropped that. The third one is a complete mystery : it’s a company based in Pune that is setting up shop over in Kakkanad. Two people I know were asked to go for interviews there and although they were not selected, these guys raved about the facility. However, if you look into their company website you wouldn’t give them a second thought – it is so shabbily done! Just a plain white page with company address and a cell phone number & name of the contact person for all information seekers!
