You’ve just won $1 billion dollars in the local lottery. You do not have to pay tax on your winnings. How will you spend the money?

$1 billion is approximately Rs. 60 billion or Rs.62,000,000,000. Wow! I cannot even fathom that much amount being held by anyone in India (although there has to be a few like that) let alone me! That is a whole lot of dough for just one Indian. Let’s say, for the sake of the post that we are keeping it in India and in Indian currency. What would I do with it?

Buy a huge brand new hi-tech house for my folks. Buy a top floor, full floor apartment for me with all the bells and whistles! Buy all the latest gadgets and gizmos. Have a grand party an invite all my relatives and friends and have a blast! Buy lots of gifts for them. Buy a jet and travel to Las Vegas in it. Get a luxury suite and invite a whole lotta women to my place for the party of their lives.

Wake up hungover 3 days later with over 20 naked babes all asleep in my giant bed and find out that I am now broke! Oops!
