Sparkling Still

What’s your idea of a perfect day off: one during which you can quietly relax, doing nothing, or one with one fun activity lined up after the other? Tell us how you’d spend your time.

There is no such thing as a perfect day. Let me get that one thing straight. Having said that, depending on my mood and who I am with I can think of several ways to spend a day off.

At this moment, feeling a little tired and it being a Friday, if I had things my way I would like to spend a quite day at home alone. Recharging and relaxing is a great way to unwind. Sometimes I feel like a two day weekend is too short! Ok, so I would probably like to wake up by 8 am or so and listen to music all morning as I made a leisurely breakfast and drink coffee. I would also like a cold milkshake with some fruit in it like banana or apple. I would crank up an ac and relax all day as the days are so boiling hot outside.

By noon I would start feeling peckish so here’s what I would order. A large pizza with everything on it and I would poop open a couple of beers. That’s the way, ahuh ahuh, I like it, ahuh ahuh! Gulp down those beers and munch on the delicious pizza as I watch a movie or two and relax on my bed. By 5 a quick shower and more coffee with music and Youtube on. Spend the evening like that until 9pm and order some bbq chow and maybe a vodka and Sprite and enjoy the evening. Another movie before I go to bed. That would be simple and yet relaxing. Sleepy for 8 hours after that too!
