According to Variety Paramount Pictures has already greenlight a sequel to their upcoming new Star Trek movie (which TrekWeb will be calling Star Trek XII), and has hired Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof to pen the screenplay, for a likely summer 2011 release.
